Vent window detection
The vent window detection system consists of four switches that will stop the roof washer when it comes into contact with an open vent window.
Covers on the main brushes which will retain splashing dirt and water to minimize the risk of the adjacent peaks getting dirty.
Brush height adjustment
With this option the height of the brushes can easily be adjusted. This option is provided for if a roof washer is required to wash several different greenhouse roofs.
Aluminum step mounted between the frame’s arms to make the upper compartment more easily accessible.
Cable- and hose guide
Guides on the reels for ensuring that the electric cable and water hose are uniformly wound up and unwound.
The roof washer can also be used to spray shading agents (whitewash) and diffuse coatings on the greenhouse roof. The roof washer is then fitted with spraying booms with which three peaks can be sprayed simultaneously, one-and-a-half as the roof washer moves forward and one-and-a-half as it returns.
Spraying cleaning agents
Cleaning agents can be added to the water via a Dosatron dispenser mounted on the roof washer. A spraying boom will then apply the agent to the next peak, adjacent to the roof washer, to give it some time to take effect before that peak is washed.
A safer way to ride along with the roof washer. The operator platform is mounted between the frame’s arms and is equipped with a control panel.
The platform will under normal conditions be able to trail the power cable and water hose over a distance of up to around a hundred meters. For longer gables with which this distance will be exceeded a reel set is needed. A reel set may also be advisable for unfavorable conditions due to uneven or rough terrain.
